Jazz, now a fifth grader, is shown here with "Pickles" the cat. Not too long ago, Pickles disappeared near the North Main Street area of Linton. If you see him or have him please e-mail me at timberlyferree@hotmail.com
It's time for some tidbits and updates:

* Our family cat, Pickles, has disappeared. He is a long-haired orange/yellow cat that resembles Garfield. Like all cats, Pickles, has a mind of his own and tends to do what he wants. He's also very lovable, quite large in size as well as smart. He disappeared near the North Main Street area of Linton. If you see him or have him please e-mail me at timberlyferree@hotmail.com . Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.

* Ramsey, now a sophomore at Linton-Stockton High School, has been given the opportunity to complete his junior and senior year of high school at the Indiana Academy for Science, Mathematics and Humanities -- which is located on the campus of Ball State. He's very serious about going and we will soon visit campus for a preview day. After high school, Ramsey's dream is to attend Rose Hulman and major in aerospace engineering and work for NASA. (I told him he could -- as long as he let his little brother be an astronaut!) All jokes aside, Ramsey is extremely intelligent, good-hearted and driven -- a true gem of a son. I couldn't ask for a better young man. Please keep the Ferree-Puckett family in your prayers and send us up some positive thoughts when it comes to making this decision.

* Our family has been kept busy, as all families do, with meeting new people when we're out and about tending to music business. Gigs have really been picking up for Kade and we appreciate all of the new friends we have made along the way.

A big thank you to Don Arney, Ivy Tech Terre Haute -- Technology, for giving Kade the opportunity to play at Oakley Auditorium. It's a wonderful venue -- with beautiful sound and an intimate setting. Don and his crew (Patrick, as well as others) even recorded the show and are putting parts of it on-line at www.youtube.com -- just do a search for "Kade Puckett" and they'll pop up. One of my favorites is the version of "Mimi" -- which Kade wrote for his grandmother, Norma Elliott, of Linton. You can view it at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rzgat0zm_...

I can't thank you enough for being so kind to us. I am humbled at the help you have so kindly given. We are also so thankful to the improvisation comedy act Drive-By Comedy for being a part of the show as well as Jesse Cooper for hosting.

Sending out so very many thanks to you all for sharing your wonderful talents during the Oct. 15 show! Professionally done!!

P.S. If you're wondering where Kade plays next -- he'll be at the Coffee Grounds in Terre Haute from 8 - 10 p.m. Nov. 13. If you have the time we'd love to see some local support.
