Live life in a circle, not in a triangle or square

Live life in a circle, not in a triangle or square.

In a circle, one can never be backed into a corner. There are no stops in a circle, making its motion fluent and never-ending. The angles of a triangle and square can be useful when it comes to some things, but they can also come to an abrupt stop forcing you to switch direction as well as lose momentum.

A circle offers more possibilities. And one can switch direction at a moment's notice without yielding.

The circle can also be found everywhere -- especially when it comes to Mother Nature. Our home, planet Earth, can be symbolized with a circle, as can the moon, sun and stars.

The circle symbolizes infinity as well as unity and cycles. Spring, summer, fall and winter are all seasons within a cycle.

A circle has no beginning and no end. And yet it continues on forever.

The circle can also be found as man-made wheels on cars, trucks and bikes. Without these wheels we wouldn't get too far. Unless of course we had wings to fly.

Manmade rings are also recreations of the circle -- with the wedding ring having the commonly repeated lore of its circular motion as a symbol of undying love and unity in modern-day wedding celebrations.

The faces of clocks and watches are often depicted as circles as well. Time and space scheduled into slots, appointments and deadlines symbolized by a circle that never ends. That irony isn't lost on me ...

Until I grow some wings, I'll be content living the circular dream.

* Time and space are modes by which we think and not conditions in which we live -- Albert Einstein
