Sping has arrived

Posted Tuesday, March 23, 2010, at 10:01 AM

It may still be a little cold outside but warmer temperatures are not far off.

While taking a walk the other day I saw bluegills near the surface and thought it won't be long and I'll be panfishing.

With all the snow cover we had this past winter we will see if the old tales are true about the more snow cover you have the better the mushroom hunting is.

Turkey hunting is just around the corner. I have seen Tom Turkey in strut on those warm sunny days.

Even with all the petty squabbling Greene County is still a great place to be an outdoors person.
