Santa will be in his workshop at the Linton Rotary Park in downtown Linton on Saturday from 1-4 p.m. If you haven't stopped in to tell Santa what's on your Christmas wish list, please do so.
This will be Santa's last day in the workshop before he heads back to the North Pole. When you stop to visit Santa, be sure to get your surprise from Linton Pizza Hut as well as candy canes from Marvin Abshire Attorney at Law and Francis Jewel Box. * A Pleasant Grove Christmas Musical is under way now at Pleasant Grove Farms south of Linton. This annual holiday event is Christmas Music choreographed to lights. The choreographed light show will run from Dec. 12 through 27 from 6-10 p.m. each night. A Patriotic show is planned for Dec. 27 through Jan. 1. It is recommended that you use one of the four parking lots, tune your radio to FM 90.1 and sit and enjoy the shows. For more information check out www.pleasantgrovechristmas.com . * If you haven't had an opportunity to drive through Humphreys Park in Linton and see the holiday light display there, please do so. Pride in the Park is sponsoring this year's event. Tune to 88.1 and enjoy the variety of music while taking in the lights. * The Linton-Stockton Chamber of Commerce's annual dinner and awards banquet is scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 21 at the Linton Elks Lodge.
