  • Here in Colorado, my tomato plant (vine) this year produced four tomato vegetables (fruits), and they are still ripening on the vine (plant). Pitiful output.

    I think the reason that Florida cannot produce a good tomato is becuase the climate down there does not have a good change in temperature during the season or even the day. Those temperature shifts contribute both to the texture and the flavor of the vegetable (fruit).

    And, yes, Wiglund, there are such things as yellow tomato (fruits) (vegetables).
