Practice Round Coverage

The practice round is complete and sun burns are just beginning. Spring break golf has officially begun!

If you've never played a desert course you know how different it is from playing in the Midwest. You have to be able to adapt your game for the additional roll, making the practice round key.

The course we are playing in in great shape and is very scorable. Look for some low rounds out there this weekend.

The tournament kicks of tomorrow with a 1PM shotgun start. You can follow us on Golfstat.com. Look for the Rio Verde Invitational. Keep in mind we are two hours behind Indiana out here!

We will be playing with MAC conference rival Eastern Michigan and Minnesota.

Practice rounds often take 6 hours and include A LOT of waiting. However, today's was very enjoyable. We never waited a second and had fun playing with our teammates!

As always, there was plenty of laughing and joking during the round. Don't worry, we did play golf, but hey, if you can't laugh while your out there it would make for one long day!
