Kelly Continues Solid Play, Tied for 3rdPosted Saturday, March 6, 2010, at 10:54 PM
We started the round in longsleeves and pants and ended up with sunburns! Just another beautiful day in the southwest.
Brittany continued her steady play today with a 73 (par 71). She is currently tied for 3rd, nine strokes behind the leader Ashley Bauer who is 6 under par for the past two days. Kirsty and Kristtini fired 77s in different ways. Kirsty had a rough finish, whereas Kristtini got off to a tough start and finished steady. Katie and I struggled out there today, shooting 84 and 83 respectively. My ball striking was not the same as yesterday. I found my tempo on the range after the round, so I am ready to redeem myself tomorrow. Playing in the individual tournament were Autumn Duke and Chantelle Hefer. Autumn fired a 75 and Chantelle had an 80. A good start to their season as well! After playing and practicing today we had some time to relax before the Range dinner in the evening. More to come from the night! |
