  • I agree every student should have their own personal aid.

  • Same old story.....People paid for your education; now you don't want to pay for someone else's......

I went to church last Sunday, and my pastor talked about how to deal with critics.

Two of his main points are critics will try to belittle your point if they can't argue a good one....and that, when cornered, a critic will venture down the road of name calling.

I am waiting for the "name calling" shoe to drop.

  • FYI the people that paid for my education did not pay for an aid. The people that paid for my parents education did not pay for an aid. It's time to get back to the basics, better teachers and less whinning.

  • Like I said in my first post All kids should have a personal aid!

Maybe THE END will figure out that I was not Belittling or name calling. I was using irony to prove a point. There is no end to this type of thinking.

  • I understand the analogy but I think teachers and aides are worth even more than you estimated. If there are 16 ounces to a pound and an aide weighs 150 pounds, then the value of that aide (oz. to oz. with the weight of gold)is actually $3,268,200.00.

  • dhobbs you couldn't make it in the world today with an education like that! The computer youre using is one of the problems! It takes more than one teacher teaching more than one grande to do the job that is needed! So if you want to stay in your old world ways then get off that computer dont use a cell phone either because it wasnt the people taught in your way that invented or produced those things!
