Come and spend an enjoyable evening at the Carnegie Center on Thursday, March 31 at 7 p.m. We will be hosting Celtic fiddler Emily Ann Thompson.
Donations will be accepted at the door. Irish stew and Soda Bread with ginger ale will also be available for $1. The concert is sponsored by the Carnegie Heritage & Arts Center, Up Right Studio, Linton-Stockton Elementary Music and the Linton Gamma Rho chapter of Psi Iota Xi Sorority. * Greene County Tourism Student Photo Contest Reception will be held at the Carnegie Center on Saturday April 2 from 2-3 p.m. Winning photographs will be on display and winners announced. The photos will remain at the center for public viewing through April 9. We are so proud of our area students for participating! * Cheryl Helms will be the "Meet Your Area Artist" at the Carnegie Center on Saturday, April 9 from noon - 3 p.m. Cheryl is an award winning area photographer who enjoys sharing what she has learned through volunteering in the community as well as teaching photography classes and judging various photography exhibits and 4-H fairs. If photography is your interest, be sure to stop by the Carnegie on Saturday, April 9 from noon - 3 p.m. and talk with Cheryl! * We also have several handmade items by area artists at our "Artist's Corner Gift Shop." Quit saying "One day I will stop by and check out the Carnegie," and do it this week! Hope to see you there! Donna is the executive director of the Carnegie Heritage & Arts Center of Greene County.
