LeGrand Featured Artist at Carnegie
The solo exhibit of local artist Wyatt LeGrand will open this Saturday March 24. A reception with hors d'oevres and an opportunity to meet the artist and view his amazing works will be held from 5-8 pm.
The title of the show "The Places We Go and the Ways We Get There" promises to deliver an exciting display of LeGrand's work.
In the past Wyatt's paintings have been selected for display at the Hoosier Salon, Indianapolis Museum of Art, and Brown County Art Gallery as well as many other prestigious venues.
LeGrand also is the organizer for the successful annual "Paint the Park Bloomfield Art Festival" held each year in June.
Along with fulfilling his duties as art teacher at Linton this year, he also maintains an art studio at 2015 West State Road 54 just outside of Bloomfield where he offers art lessons.
Be sure to stop by the Carnegie Heritage & Arts Center of Greene County located at 110 East Vincennes Street in Linton, Indiana for this exciting event!
Hours are Tuesday noon to 3 p.m., Wednesday through Friday 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. or Saturday by appointment. For more information call 847-0165.
Hope to see you there!
