Logan Wade Solo Show to be Featured at Carnegie Heritage & Arts Center
Local artist Logan Wade's show entitled "I Used to Dream with the Doors Unlocked" will be on exhibit in the southeast gallery at the Carnegie Heritage & Arts Center of Greene County beginning June 25th through July 20th.
Opening reception for this vibrant show will be Friday, June 28th from 5-8pm with refreshments and an opportunity to meet the artist in person.
A native of Linton, Logan has been drawing and creating since he was in grade school. Early inspiration came from sketching superheroes, sci-fi landscapes and Stan Lee's X-Men. He soon honed his own unique style of creating comic book characters each with their own strengths, weaknesses and backgrounds.
Advancing from early years he combined the action of his youthful inspiration with the questions and answers adult life poses to produce works that are very thought provoking.
Holding a graphic design degree Logan currently works as a local graphic designer as well as an artist producing works in acrylic, tempera and mixed media.
His unique style combines out of the box compositions, bold color and motion to tell a story in each painting.
Don't miss out on meeting and viewing this amazing artist's works. Be sure to stop by the opening reception this Friday from 5-8pm.
Hope to see you there!
