Carnegie to Showcase Annual Juried Art Show During Fall Arts Festival
The First Annual Juried Art Show will be showcased during the Linton Fall Arts Festival this Saturday 10 a.m.to 4 p.m.
To be accepted into the show the works were juried by an outside professional artist and accepted for display.
First Place/Best of Show Award went to Doug Roush, Second place to Shad Cox and third Place to Robin Myers. Each artist accepted into the show received a participant ribbon.
Painting demonstrations by area artists will also be conducted inside the Carnegie during the festival.
The Spark Shop will be open with handmade items by area artists as well as photography, paintings, handmade pens, cards, baskets, pottery and much more.
As always the Phil Harris/Alice Faye Exhibit is available for viewing in the history wing.
While you are out and about at the festival please take time to stop by the Carnegie and view the works of our local talented artists. It is a show you won't want to miss.

The Carnegie Heritage & Arts Center is located at 110 East Vincennes St. in Linton. Regular hours are Wednesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Saturday noon to 4 p.m.
