Linton-Stockton High School Art Show 2014 opens Saturday
Opening reception for the Linton-Stockton High School Art Show will be held this Saturday from 12:30 pm - 2:00 pm in the Southeast Gallery of the Carnegie Heritage & Arts Center.
Several art mediums are represented in this show such as textile weaving, plaster sculpture, wire and foil sculpture as well as conventional painting and sketching.
Jennifer Grimes the art instructor at Linton has introduced a wide variety of mediums to the students and the art they have created to showcase is quite impressive.
Be sure to take the time this Saturday to show support for our young artists by stopping by the Carnegie and viewing the show.
If you miss the opening the show will be up until May 17th.
Hope to see you there!
