Marsh Madness featured artist Judy Wright Crosley
The creations of local artist Judy Wright Crosley will be showcased in the South West Gallery at the Carnegie Heritage & Arts Center beginning this Saturday.
The show is being held in conjunction with the Marsh Madness festivities and will have the opening reception Saturday, March 5 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Carnegie located at 110 E. Vincennes St. in Linton.
Judy currently lives in Worthington, graduating from Shoals High School and holds an associate degree in physiology from Vincennes University and a BGS in physiology and sociology from IU. She currently works as a licensed insurance agent in Bloomington.
Coming from a family of artists, Judy has been painting from a very young age. She says, "Since I could hold a crayon, I have been creating!" Her style is very elective, ranging from painting to sculptures and designing jewelry; all which will be featured at her solo show.
She also is donating a painting of the Goose Pond to the Friends of Goose Pond Auction an Dinner held this Friday, March 4th at the Elks to help raise money for the Goose Pond.
