Sigma Pro photographer David Fitzsimmons and Bird Watcher's Digest Editor Bill Thompson will be the instructors for the Marsh Madness Goose Pond Crane Migration Photo Workshop this weekend, Feb. 25-26, based out of the Carnegie Heritage & Arts Center of Greene County.
Attendees will use the Carnegie as a gathering area to organize and assimilate their gear. After a four-hour morning session at the Goose Pond, lunch will be provided and then another four hour on site session in the afternoon with a end of the day gathering at the Carnegie.
Tickets are $149 and also include a Roberts gift card as well as first-come-first-serve chances to borrow gear and tripods.
Workshops will be offered on two days: Feb. 25 or 26 from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m.
There are a few spots still open if any photographers are interested. Phone 1-800-726-5544 to sign up or visit the Roberts website at http://blog.robertsimaging.com/#axzz1nENEpTyr
Roberts Distributors and Sigma sponsor the workshop which is returning to the Linton Goose Pond area for a second year.
If you love photography and want to learn from the pros don't miss it.
* Also, we are proud to announce the art show entitled "Seasons in Time" of local artists Doug and Janet Gravemier at the Carnegie opening Feb. 28.
Doug works with both film and digital camera techniques to capture his unique images.
Janet enjoys a traditional approach to the fine art of drawing using pencil, charcoal, pen and ink along with crayola and oil painting mediums.
Be sure to stop by the Carnegie Heritage & Arts Center of Greene County at 110 East Vincennes Street, Linton, and enjoy the works of two very talented local artists.
Hours are Tuesday noon to 3 p.m., Wednesday through Friday 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. or Saturday by appointment. For more information call 847-0165.
Hope to see you there!
