L-S Chamber to host motocross races

Practice will be Saturday, Sept. 17 from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. The race will be Sunday, Sept. 18, 7 a.m. sign-in, 9 a.m. practice, and racing begins at 11 a.m..

Light concessions will be available on Saturday and full concessions will be available on Sunday.

Prices are: Saturday practice, $15; Sunday gate fees $4 for children under 10, $7 for adults, children 5 and under are free; $25 riders first class, $20 each additional class.

Rain date is Oct. 1-2.

The Chamber luncheon will be Sept. 13 at the Elks Lodge at noon.

Chamber member, Greene County Tobacco Prevention & Cessation, will be co-sponsoring a Greene County Women's Health Conference Oct. 15 from 8:30 a.m. - 3 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Bloomfield for only $10 per person.

L-S Chamber is also preparing for the annual Buy Indiana Expo at the French Lick Resort & Casino on Oct. 25.

This expo gives the opportunity to Hoosier companies to showcase their business products and services for NSWC Crane. Workshops will be held to educate businesses on how to conduct business with the Federal Government.
