Simply the best

I was sitting here, trying to get that spark of inspiration for what I was going to write about this week and I realized it was high time for something.

High time I recognized some people that I don’t thank nearly enough.

If you didn’t know them, you’d probably think they were good people just by looking at them.

Unless you were the gentleman who saw my dad wave as my mom sitting next to him didn’t wave but just sat there, arms crossed with a little RBF, as they drove a loaded trailer down the road. You probably thought she was ticked her husband bought a new toy and he was happy as can be because he had a new toy.

She was just cold, but honestly you were probably a little correct.

But if you know them, you know they are truly some of the best people this side of anywhere. And if you know anything about our story, you know I couldn’t have gotten luckier.

There have been a lot of things happening recently, lots of changes and preparing for changes to come. More to handle at one time than I can remember them ever having to.

Through all of this, I just can’t help but think of how they’re managing it all. I’ve been impressed over the years how they’ve juggled stuff, sure. But this is uncharted territory. A lot to do in a short time. And let me tell you they are killing it.

Through sacrifices, readjusting, just going with the flow and taking the hits as they come, they are truly inspiring.

I love you guys more than you know, and while I’m still processing these changes, I am just proud of all you’ve done and are doing. Here’s to the future and making it through the present.
