Local businesses assist treasurer’s office

The days have been beautiful and we have had the privilege of meeting so many taxpayers that are out enjoying these spring days. We have surpassed our 100 days in office and have accomplished many things.

The following local businesses have been instrumental in our progress:

• Lamar Printing and Office Supply – The wonderful staff here printed our tax bills, created our envelopes and business cards. They went above and beyond by hand carrying large batches for the staff in the Treasurer’s Office to fold and stuff the envelopes.

• Shads Signs – Shad prepared our labels used to seal the envelopes with all the new ways to pay your taxes from anywhere. Excellent service, efficient and timely.

• Bender Lumber – They mixed the paint and delivered it to the office. Extremely helpful. My daughter Caitlyn and I painted the office with no cost to the taxpayers.

• Bloomfield Hardware and Supply – Painting supplies and nails. Also, a great group to work with.

If you have a business that you believe our office could benefit from their professional services, please feel free to let us know! I am sure there are many local businesses that we are not aware of to utilize.

We mailed over 25,000 tax bills valuing over $15,500,000. As we proceed in collecting the taxes, please keep in mind that we are diligently working to get it right. To ensure that you are only paying your share and correct any issues that arise.
