Treasurer's Office welcomes intern
“What should young people do with their lives today? Many things, obviously. But the most daring thing is to create stable communities in which the terrible disease of loneliness can be cured.”
― Kurt Vonnegut
When I came into office, one goal was to bring government and this office to the community. I reached out to all guidance counselors at each school, letting them know that our office was open to internships, job shadowing and speaking engagements. We were fortunate enough to have an IU student interested in the opportunity.
We would like to introduce Zach Stone as our 2019 Greene County Treasurer’s Office Intern. Zach is a local kid who graduated from Bloomfield high school in 2017. He is currently a sophomore at Indiana University where he is pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance through the Kelley School of Business. Through his experiences at Kelley and when he was a finance intern for Kimball Electronics, Zach has had some exposure to the corporate financial world and now is eager to learn more about the Public Financial Sector.
Zach will be with us on Friday’s each week as he attends classes the rest of the week. As always, we welcome you to stop by the office.
Nicole Stahl is the Greene County Treasurer. She can be contacted at Nicole.Cox@co.greene.in.us.
