Isaac Murdock, of rural Worthington, is the 2013 Greene County Fair Round Robin Grand Champion. Murdock, who will be a freshman at White River Valley Junior-Senior High School next month, won the most coveted individual livestock showman award of the annual fair over a field of five other competitors ---- each representing the six major livestock species shown at the fair. All six competitors had won expert level showmanship honors or was a top qualifier at this year's fair among six species of animals -- beef, swine, sheep, horse & pony, meat goats and dairy goats. Runner-up honors went to Joshlyn Held, who represented the beef barn. Third place went to Harley Sullivan, representing swine; fourth place was Makayla Huber, representing dairy goats; fifth place was Abi Morales, representing sheep; and sixth place to Marissa VanHorn, representing horse & pony. The competition started with horse handling in the indoor arena, then shifted to the show barn arena for the remaining five species.
