Students at White River Valley High School in Switz City conducted a mock wreck drill on Wednesday morning to call attention to the dangers of being intoxicated and driving a vehicle. The project was coordinated by the WRV Leadership group and its sponsor Mike Karr along with school resource officer Scott Allen. The program is part of a week-long education program on alcohol abuse and the dangers of driving while intoxicated. The school will conduct its annual prom Saturday night.

WRV School District Superintendent Bob Hacker addressed the students following the drill encouraging them to be smart and make wise decisions when it comes to the consumption of alcoholic beverages.
