On Saturday, Aug. 19, area kids got a chance to take part in the 2017 Kicking Bear camp, which teaches the values of archery. Director for the event Mike Miller said there were expected to be around 200 children in attendance. "We have a lot of good people here and we're doing this for the right reasons," Miller said. 50 stations were available for those in attendance, including 45 archery targets, a practice range, bowfishing practice, tomahawk throwing and flu flu shooting.
