Hoosiers helping Texans and Flordians
Friday, September 8, 2017
We here at the Greene County Daily World have been happy to feature photos and stories of the many ways in which ourselves and our fellow residents have banded together to help the residents of Houston and other areas devastated by Hurricane Harvey. We have created a photo gallery on our website titled, “Hoosiers helping Houston,” and have included some of our own photos of people as they load trucks and gather supplies to help our fellow Americans. Have you or someone you know been a part of such efforts? Please send your photos in to greenecountynewsdesk@gmail.com, along with the names of those appearing in the photos, and we will add them to the gallery! Thanks for your help, Greene County!

After a week assisting with Hurricane Irma relief efforts, local linemen from Utilities District of Western Indiana REMC--line foremen Steve Campbell, Jeremy Feltner and Nathan Neill, and journeymen linemen Jordan Clark, Cody English and Ross Egenolf--returned home. They helped to restore power in Georgia and Florida following the hurricane.
