In an oak display case at the Linton Public Library, fairies, gnomes and other assorted little creatures frolic in displays themed to the four seasons of the year. The display, sponsored by the Friends of the Library and created by the collaborative efforts of Ginger Anderson, Children's and Teen's Librarian, Nicole Hobbs, Children's and Teen's Library Assistant and Linton student volunteer Emily Hayden, was started in October 2018 and is made up of pieces the trio found mostly in Linton shops, particularly the Country Mouse. Some of the unique miniatures were handmade by library staff and the seasonal backgrounds were painted by Hayden. The Fairy Garden display is located in the Children's/Young Adult section of the library.
