National Night Out 2019
Tuesday, August 6, 2019

Held at Linton’s Humphreys Park since 2010, this year marked the tenth year of National Night Out (NNO) in Linton. Held on the first Tuesday in August in thousands of communities in all 50 states, Canada and on military bases around the world, the free event is a way for officers and citizens to interact in an atmosphere with a festival-like feel.
Officers from police departments in Linton, Jasonville, Worthington, Lyons and Bloomfield were present, as well as the Greene County Sheriff’s Department, the Indiana State Police, NJROTC cadets, Greene County fire departments, the Greene County Prosecutor’s Office, military personnel and the Indiana Department of Natural Resources, among others.
