Shakamak rolls to first regional title since 2015

The No. 10 Lakers popped Southwestern 10-1 the first game of the Morristown Regional Saturday followed by a 13-0 rout of Oldenburg Academy. The wins secured Shakamak it’s first regional title since 2015. Shakamak will take on Borden next Saturday with the site to be determined between Jasper and Mooresville. In the first game against Southwestern, Shakamak posted four runs in the fifth to pull away. Shakamak outhit Southwestern 12-4. The Lakers move to 18-9 for the season.
