Storm damage in eastern Greene County

A heavy line of storms moved through the eastern Greene County area Monday and Wednesday evenings. Damage in the Lawrence County area was heavy with power lines down and several mobile homes sustaining significant damage. Monday's storm downed a large tree that nearly split a meeting hall at Hobbieville Christian Fellowship Church into two pieces.

Metal garage doors didn't fare very well during the storm at this residence located just east of the Eastern Greene Elementary and Middle School campus along State Road 54.
