Linton Community Development Corporation show

The Linton Community Development Corporation (LCDC) hosted a country music and bluegrass concert Saturday in the Linton-Stockton High School auditeria The band U.S. 231 was opening act, followed by Holly Lynn, Sheila and the Roadside Monkeys, Kade Puckett, and a 90-minute set by The Roys. The headlining band was the sibling duo, The Roys. They were the 2009 and 2010 Inspirational Country Music (ICM) "Duo of the Year" award winners. The Roys released their first record under Rural Rhythm Records titled "Lonesome Whistle" on March 22. Their first single from the album should be one that Greene Countians can relate to, called "Coal Minin' Man."
