The first visitors of the Culpepper and Merriweather Circus are making their way into Bloomfield. Students at Bloomfield Elementary School were visited by a clown who taught them about the circus's sounds and whistles. Tickets are now on sale for the circus that is coming to Bloomfield on April 30. The circus, sponsored by the Bloomfield Chamber of Commerce, will offer two shows at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. The Big Top tent will be set up in the vacant -- located just west of the Utilities District of Western Indiana (UDWI) REMC office, along State Road 54, about one mile west of the Bloomfield town limits. Advance tickets are now on sale at Farmers and Mechanic Federal Savings and Loan, Bloomfield State Bank, MainSource Bank, Bloomfield Dairy Queen, YER Studio, Season's Greetings Shop and the UDWI office. Advance tickets are $10 for adults and $6 for children. Tickets at the door will sell for $13 for adults and $7 for children.
