Apple Festival Taco Eating Contest

Casa Sevilla in Bloomfield provided the necessary ingredients for the first taco eating contest at the Bloomfield Apple Festival Friday afternoon. Organizer Beth Robinette broke the competitors into three categories: grades 7-9, grades 10-12 and adults.

Bodhi Bechtel, a Bloomfield seventh grader, was the winner of the grade 7-9 category.

Noah Brown, a Bloomfield 11th grader, was the winner for the grade 10-12 category.

State Rep. Jeff Ellington approved of the tacos donated by Casa Sevilla.

Sgt. Benjamin Larson, the Army National Guard recruiter for Greene County, was the winner in the adult category of the taco eating contest.
