Students at White River Valley High School got a lesson in safe driving by seeing the dangers of impairments and the ease of taking precautions. Students drove a golf cart through a mini course marked by cones first normally and then a second pass with goggles simulating impairment. Students also participated in a relay to show how fast they can put on a seatbelt.

While driving the course, SADD program director Geoff Grow informed students about the dangers of drunk driving and designated each cone as a life. He told students that running over cones would be the same as taking a life while driving impaired.
