A Bloomfield industry that closed its doors June 15 has filed for bankruptcy. KPT, Inc. filed Chapter 7 bankruptcy in U.S. Bankruptcy Court Southern Indiana on June 26. Chapter 7 bankruptcy is a liquidation proceeding. The debtor turns over all non-exempt property to the bankruptcy trustee who then converts it to cash for distribution to the creditors. ...
