Coverstone resigns from council

JASONVILLE ---- Jasonville City Council member the Rev. Dana Coverstone announced to the city council Monday night that he will be resigning his position at the end of September. Coverstone, who has served as youth and associate pastor at the Jasonville Assembly of God for the past 10 years, resigned that position Sunday morning. Jasonville passes budget, salary ordinance Monday

JASONVILLE ---- The Jasonville City Council approved the city's budget and salary ordinances at its regular meeting Monday night. The salary ordinances allowed for a $1,000 a year raise for all employees, the clerk-treasurer, the mayor and each council member.
