The owners of a cat that was badly burned last month in eastern Greene County say the animal is receiving veterinary care, and will hopefully recover from its ordeal. Jennifer Lawson-Strunk, who lives about 15 miles east of Bloomfield, said the young black cat named Sugar is making some progress. She estimates the cat's age at about eight months.
