Weaver to spend five years in jail

A Linton man will be spending five years in jail as a part of a negotiated plea agreement filed last week in Greene Superior Court. Donald L Weaver, Jr., 31, plead guilty to possession of methamphetamine while in possession of a firearm. As a part of the agreement, Weaver will pay $200 to the safe schools fee, $200 to the drug interdiction fee and $35 in court costs. He has also been ordered to forfeit his .44 caliber handgun to the Linton Police Department...
