A public appeal several weeks ago by Greene County Treasurer Carolyn White for landowners to pre-pay their county property taxes has apparently paid off. White reported this week that just under $2 million in tax money had been collected in her office since Nov. 10, 2002 while no current tax bills have been mailed out yet this year. Linton man accused of vandalizing buildings

A warrant has been issued in Vigo County for the arrest of a Linton man. John D. Harrell, 33, is facing seven counts of criminal mischief in connection with 39 businesses in Terre Haute being shot with paintballs. Terre Haute Police Sgt.
