Mary J. Stephens, 56, of Dugger and formerly of Linton, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2003 at her residence. Born Oct. 10, 1946 in Greene County, she was the daughter of Doyle and Mildred O'Connor Benefiel. Survivors include two daughters, Christina Stephens of Linton and Heather Stephens of Indianapolis; four brothers, John Benefiel of Michigan, Randall Benefiel of Las Vegas, Nev., Ronald Benefiel of Tampa, Fla., and Richard Benefiel of Linton; and three grandchildren, Jessi Stephens, Zoe Vester and Sean Gilbert.. ...
