A Greene County man has received the highest award a civilian can receive from the government ---- a Bronze Star Medal. Donald Mumma, who was born in Linton and raised in Lyons, enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1978. After serving with the U.S. Army from 1978-88, Mumma now works in communications for the government, as a civilian.
