County's population grows slightly

There was good news and bad news for Greene County in the latest population figures released Thursday by the U.S. Census Bureau. As a county, population grew by 83 residents from 33,157 in the 2000 Census to 33, 202 in 2003. Linton was the only incorporated city or town in the county to show any population growth in the three-year period over 2000 U.S. Census numbers.
