Gov. Kernan touts Action Indiana plan

Gov. Joe Kernan made a campaign stop in Linton on Monday afternoon and touted the benefits of his "Action Indiana" plan and how it can provide and maintain jobs for Hoosiers. Speaking during an exclusive interview at the offices of The Linton Daily Citizen/Bloomfield Evening World, Kernan said, "For us, it's kind of our view of where we've been and looking ahead to the future and putting out some specific proposals in those areas we believe are most important to Hoosiers ---- starting with jobs creation, the importance of us doing everything we can to make sure we keep good jobs here and bringing opportunities to our state.". ...

With a 5-0 vote, the Linton City Council voted to accept the 2005 budget that was previously printed in the Linton Daily Citizen and Bloomfield Evening World.
