Fire destroys vacant home on county line

Linton Fire Department and Dugger Volunteer Fire Department responded to a structure fire on County Road 900 East just before noon Thursday. The house, owned by Bill and Donitta Cody on the Greene County side of the county line road, was empty. However, it was situated between a mobile home the Codys live in and LP and diesel fuel tanks.
