With the spring schedule, it's only a matter of when, not if, that games will be called because of the weather. The Linton Miners' track and field team opened the 2006 season at home against Shakamak and came away with 90-19 win over the Lakers. The Miners won 13 events led by Josh Miller and Ethan Brewer's three individual victories. Brewer won both the 100 and 200 with times in the 100 at 11.96 and 24.37 for the 200.
