Linton men save lives of two other area men in traffic accident

Ralph M. Carpenter, 64, Worthington, and Robert L. Cunningham, 65, Linton, were injured in a two-car accident Sunday morning on the way to a bass-fishing tournament in Marshall, Ill. The two men might have lost their lives in the accident if not for three other members of the Linton Bass Club. Tony Richards, Robbie Boldrey and J.D. Mason, all of Linton, also were on their way to the tournament when they saw the accident and stopped to see if they could help...

The Linton Miners' boys track team picked up another win on Monday, this time over Clay City, 78-53. Josh Miller picked up a win in the 110 hurdles with a time of 15.47.
