Christine Marshall, 60, of Jasonville, passed away at 5:50 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2007 at her residence. Born Dec. 3, 1946 in Sullivan Coxunty, she was the daughter of Robert Omar Ruff and Nancy Bratcher Ruff Souders. Survivors include: Her husband, Lloyd "Vernie" Marshall; three sons, James Marshall and wife Danielle of Jasonville, Mark Marshall and wide Cathy of Dugger and Robbie Marshall of Sullivan; two daughters, Lori Lambermont and husband Rod of Jasonville and Amy Burdette and husband Brian of Linton; three brothers, Allen Ruff of Sullivan County, Tim Ruff of Pleasantville and Jo Souders of Linton; three sisters, Darlene Manuel of Cass, Leslie Stevens of Linton and Anna Souders; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.. ...

White River Valley, Shakamak and Bloomfield each will play two boys basketball games in the final weekend in January while Union will play one home game. The Bulldogs will try and celebrate homecoming Friday night when Shoals comes to visit. Bloomfield also will have a homecoming game Saturday when No. 7 Orleans comes to visit...
