Police have determined that a 3 1/2 month old baby girl, who was found in a locked car trunk early Wednesday morning, was in the trunk of a car located at the residence of her mother. Bloomfield man jailed on drug charge

A 22-year-old Bloomfield man is behind bars after being arrested Thursday night by Greene County Sheriff's Department Deputy Terry Wade. According to a probable cause affidavit, written by Wade and filed in Greene Circuit Court, Wade went to the residence of Erik Roberson's mother on Thursday in an attempt to reach Roberson who was wanted on a warrant -- which was issued on Monday -- for failure to appear on a driving while suspended charge...

A former Tulip resident is now the author of a fictional book that is based on his boyhood days spent in Greene County. Rick Sheetz, author of "Moonshine, Watermelons and Rock Salt" said the book contains many references to local places. "It's about a country boy from southern Indiana," he said. "It's the adventures of a young boy ... a lot of it is caused by his consumption of moonshine."...
