A U.S. Army Veteran, he served with the 101st Airborne in Vietnam from 1968 -- 1970. He was employed by General Motors for 30 years before retiring July 1, 2000. INDIANAPOLIS -- Five southwestern Indiana counties will be switched back from the Central Time Zone to the Eastern Zone, the U.S. Department of Transportation announced Thursday.
