Tonight's Union vs. Washington Catholic girls basketball game will be a varsity only beginning at 7 p.m. Also, White River Valley's girls basketball game against Washington Tuesday night will also be a varsity only scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.

To the Editor: The season is here again. The stores are decorated, the people run all over each other to get ahead of the line for the "Holiday Specials." This is the "make-or-break" season for many merchandisers. People are greeting each other by saying "Happy Holidays." Credit cards are being "maxed out," budgets are being destroyed, debt and financial insecurity is rife. Why? "What is the reason for the season?"...

In other words, if a child is severely delayed cognitively and physically, should they not be given the same access to language that a deaf child without other disabilities would be given?
