To the Editor: Monday night's Linton City Council meeting turned into a lively discussion, about the proposed Youth Center. Not everybody is in agreement, that the Conservation Club is the best place to locate such a project. Many other sites were suggested, but the powers that be, seemed determined to settle on the Conservation Club site. A lot of money will be moving through a lot of hands, on the way to bringing this project to fruition...

Linton library plans special programs during holiday break

The Linton Public Library Board of Trustees met Monday night and announced additional programs for children will be held during Christmas break. The programs on Dec. 27th and 28th from 1-4:00 p.m. will include stories, crafts, games, computer activities, snacks, and a library scavenger hunt.
