JASONVILLE -- The Jasonville Town Council voted unanimously Monday night to accept the board of public works' proposal in hiring Shannon Gibson on the volunteer fire department and Shawn Husband and Adam Pearson on the police department reserves. In order to hire Gibson, the council voted to pass a waiver that would bypass the city code that states the age limit for a new fireman should be under the age of 45 years.
