UPDATED BREAKING NEWS: MAJOR DRUG DEALER NABBED

HYMERA -- A major drug dealer in the Greene, Sullivan and Vigo County area was apprehended late Friday afternoon -- capping an undercover drug investigation that originated with the Linton City Police Department. Shad C. Collins, 33, was taken into custody outside a Hymera residence about 4:50 p.m. by numerous officers from the Linton Police Department, Greene County Drug Task Force, Indiana State Police and the Sullivan County Sheriff's Department. Chief Jerrell said Collins was involved in a large scale methamphetamine supplying operation that handled major distributions in a three county area.
